- Come to think of it, I did the same thing for some florocent lights in my
- Pest Control animation, except I parented the lights to the Floro object
- (ceiling light housing, two floro tubes), and loaded that scene in. I
- had just three lights -- 1 in the middle and 2 on each end -- and used
- the old "make a larger object that is transparent" trick to make the
- tubes "glow". Worked pretty damn well. Best part was I didn't need
- shadows -- there were so many lights that the shadows were almost
- unnoticable (and it tok about 2 hrs/frame...)
